About
Daniel Baker joined Blanchard Walker in 2021 and currently serves as Director, bringing with him broad civil litigation experience. Mr. Bakers’ practice involves a wide range of civil and commercial litigation, insurance, construction, personal injury, mental health, products liability, premise liability and workers’ compensation law. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Baker served as law clerk in the 26 th Judicial District Court for Bossier and Webster Parishes. In 2009 he entered private practice and has maintained a civil litigation practice since that time.
He earned his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Louisiana State University in 2003 and his law degree from Louisiana State University in 2008. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Baker worked as an engineer focusing on commercial and residential land development.
Mr. Baker is a member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, Shreveport Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and serves on the Louisiana State Bar Association Insurance Committee. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. He is AV Rated Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell.
