About

Calvin Combs joined Blanchard Walker in 2023. Calvin is a 2017 graduate of Louisiana Tech University and a 2023 dual graduate of Mississippi College where he earned both his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration with Summa Cum Laude honors. While in law school, Calvin served as the Internal Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board and as Executive Editor of the Mississippi College Law Review. In addition, he served as President of the Mississippi College Chapter of the Student Federal Bar Association and Senator of the Mississippi College Student Bar Association. Before joining the firm, Calvin served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years as a Company Supply Chief, where he honed his organizational and management skills. Calvin was responsible for over $10,000,000 worth of company assets and supported the logistical needs of over 160 Marines and Sailors. Calvin is married to his high school sweetheart, Chrissie, and has a beautiful daughter, Carson, with two Corgis, Chip and Daisy.

Calvin is a member of the American, Federal, Louisiana, and Shreveport Bar Associations, a member of the Krewe of Centaur (“Porter Float”), and a volunteer attorney for the American Bar Associations Military Pro Bono Project.
