Mr. Wolf has been with Blanchard, Walker, O’Quin & Roberts since 2004 and became a Director in 2012. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wolf served as a law clerk to Judge Charles Peatross of the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal. 

His practice involves assistance in all practice areas, with an emphasis in Business and Commercial Litigation; Banking Litigation; Foreclosures; Collections; Contract Review; Insurance Defense; Premises Liability; Business Torts; Products Liability; Intellectual Property Litigation; and, Appellate Practice.

He earned his undergraduate degree in criminal justice, with a minor in political science, from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and his master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In 2002, he received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he served on the Moot Court Board and was elected to serve two terms as the President of the Student Bar Association.

Mr. Wolf was admitted to practice law in Louisiana in 2002, Texas and Nevada in 2003, and Arizona in 2004. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, United States District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Louisiana and the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. He is a member of the Louisiana, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, American and Shreveport Bar Associations.

Mr. Wolf was appointed and served on the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section’s Governing Council as the Law Student Division Liaison his final year of law school. He remains involved in the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section, currently serving on the Editorial Boards of The Brief and Tort Source and as a Vice Chair of the Products Liability, Business Litigation and Medicine and Law Committees.

Additionally, he has served as a Past President of the Louisiana State University in Shreveport’s Alumni Association Board of Directors, a member of the Theatre of Performing Arts Board of Directors, a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s House of Delegates, and a Barrister in the Harry V. Booth and Henry A. Politz American Inn of Court  He is a member of the Louisiana Bankers Association, the National Retail & Restaurant Defense Association, and is the current President of the Red River Revel Board of Directors.  

In 2008, he was named to the list of Top 40 under 40 Young Professionals in Shreveport/Bossier and received the Circle of Excellence Award from LSU-Shreveport.

Mr. Adkins’ practice at Blanchard Walker focuses on energy and commercial litigation. His litigation practice includes a broad array of commercial and business disputes, as well as cases involving oilfield contamination; mineral landowner and lessee disputes; mineral regulatory issues; and, other aspects of oilfield litigation. 

He earned his undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana (summa cum laude; Phi Kappa Phi) and his law degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. 

Mr. Adkins was admitted to practice in 1984 and joined Blanchard Walker in 1988.  He has practiced in numerous state courts throughout the State of Louisiana and in all Louisiana federal district courts, and has appeared before both the Louisiana Supreme Court and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is a member of the American, Louisiana and Shreveport Bar Associations and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, as well as the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association.  Mr. Adkins also serves on the Louisiana State Law Institute Mineral Law-Legacy Disputes Committee.
