Ms. Flores’ practice at Blanchard Walker includes commercial and residential real estate, title examination and title insurance, and other general corporate matters. She was admitted to practice law in Louisiana and joined the firm in 2005. 

She earned her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and her law degree (magna cum laude) from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, where she was a William S. Crowe Scholar and a member of the Loyola Law Review. 

While at Loyola, Ms. Flores externed for the Honorable Carl J. Barbier, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and practiced family law with the Loyola Law Clinic. 

Ms. Flores is also a licensed title insurance producer and is an agent for First American Title Insurance Company of Louisiana.  She is a member of the American, Louisiana State and Shreveport Bar Associations, the Ark-La-Tex Association of Professional Landmen, Louisiana Land Title Association, the Louisiana Association of Independent Land Title Agents, Northwest Louisiana Association of Realtors-Commercial Investment Division, member of the Vestry of St. Mark’s Cathedral, was an honoree for the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce 40 under 40 in 2014, and received the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Citizen Lawyer Award in 2015.

Ms. Flores currently serves as President of the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier, Inc. and is a board member for Caddo Parish Children and Youth Planning Board.

Mr. Adkins’ practice at Blanchard Walker focuses on energy and commercial litigation. His litigation practice includes a broad array of commercial and business disputes, as well as cases involving oilfield contamination; mineral landowner and lessee disputes; mineral regulatory issues; and, other aspects of oilfield litigation. 

He earned his undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana (summa cum laude; Phi Kappa Phi) and his law degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. 

Mr. Adkins was admitted to practice in 1984 and joined Blanchard Walker in 1988.  He has practiced in numerous state courts throughout the State of Louisiana and in all Louisiana federal district courts, and has appeared before both the Louisiana Supreme Court and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is a member of the American, Louisiana and Shreveport Bar Associations and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, as well as the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association.  Mr. Adkins also serves on the Louisiana State Law Institute Mineral Law-Legacy Disputes Committee.
