Kendra Joseph joined Blanchard Walker in 2021, bringing a variety of legal experience. Kendra obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2011 and her Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center in 2014. While at Southern, Kendra served on the Moot Court Board and was awarded best brief and best overall team at the intra-school competition. After law school, Kendra served as a Staff Attorney at the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal, a Public Defender for the 26th Judicial District, and she briefly provided legal representation for victims of domestic violence for the Shreveport Bar Foundation. Kendra is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Shreveport Bar Association, Harry V. Booth and Judge Henry A. Politz American Inn of Court, Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Kendra has previously served as Law Week Chairman for the Shreveport Bar Association, was awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2019 from the Junior League, and is a part of the 2022 Greater Shreveport Leadership class.
