Mr. Roberts is Of Counsel to the firm. His practice involves oil and gas and real estate law. He received his undergraduate degree and law degrees from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi, and served as Associate Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. He was admitted to practice in 1953 and joined the firm in 1955. Since 1962, Mr. Roberts has been a Member of the Council of the Louisiana State Law Institute and also serves as a member of that body's Executive Committee, (Mineral Law Advisory Committee and Lease Advisory Committee). He has also served as a Member of the Council of the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute (1980-1983) and as President of the Louisiana State University Law Alumni Association (1986). He is a member of the American, Louisiana (House of Delegates, 1960-63; Board of Governors, 1973; Chairman, Mineral Law Section, 1974; Lifetime Fellow, Louisiana Bar Foundation); and Shreveport (President, 1981) Bar Associations.
