Mr. Cassibry's practice includes oil and gas title examination and contract work, commercial real estate title and closing work, real estate financing, title examination and title insurance. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and law degree from Louisiana State University where he was a member of Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi and served as Associate Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. He was admitted to practice in 1975 and joined the firm in 1983. He is a member of the American, Louisiana (Member, Uniform Title Standards Committee), Bossier Parish and Shreveport Bar Associations. Mr. Cassibry is President of Sunbelt Title Company, the firm's title and closing subsidiary, which handles commercial and residential real estate closings. Sunbelt Title Company and Mr. Cassibry act as agents for First American Title Insurance Company. Mr. Cassibry is a retired Naval Reserve Captain and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Shreveport-Bossier Military Affairs Council. He and his wife Judy are avid ballroom dancers, and Mr. Cassibry is an officer and member of several dance organizations.
