Mr. Edwards' practice involves assistance in all practice areas, with an emphasis in litigation and appellate practice and local and state government practice. Mr. Jerry Edwards joined the firm in 2006 after serving a year term as a law clerk to Judges Scott J. Crichton and Jeanette G. Garrett of the First Judicial District Court of Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University in 2002 and his law degree from Vermont Law School in 2005, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and President of the Student Bar Association. Mr. Edwards is a member of the American, Louisiana and Shreveport Bar Associations. He is an at-large member of the board of directors of the Young Lawyers' Section of the Shreveport Bar Association. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Volunteers of America of North Louisiana and was selected to serve as a 2006 Community Catalyst for the Community Foundation of Shreveport-Bossier.
