Brian C. Flanagan
Brian C. Flanagan joined Blanchard, Walker, O’Quin & Roberts in 2013. He received his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Law School where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the Louisiana Law Review.
In law school, he received CALI (Center for
Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction) awards for the highest grade in Mineral
Rights, Successions and Donations, Income Tax, and Louisiana Civil Procedure. He was the recipient of the Blanchard, Walker, O’Quin & Roberts
Scholarship, the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation Law Student Scholarship
award, the F. Neelis Endowed Energy Law Scholarship, and was a graduate editor
of the Journal of Civil Law Studies. He received the Chancellor’s List
Award three times, and twice received the newly created Paul M. Hebert Scholar
Award, an award reserved for finishing in the top 10% of students in a semester.
Mr. Flanagan also earned a master of arts from Louisiana
State University in Shreveport, and a bachelor of music from Berklee College of
Mr. Flanagan has already begun to contribute to the
community by serving on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities, and he is
one of Blanchard Walker’s representatives on the Independence Bowl Foundation.
