Katherine Guidry Douthitt
Ms. Douthitt's practice involves employment law as well as commercial law, where she represents and advises clients in commercial real estate and lending transactions, corporate matters, and various other legal issues arising in the course of doing business in Louisiana. She also has experience with local government work, particularly in public financing transactions from the Town Attorney perspective, and with oil and gas and lignite title examinations.
Ms. Douthitt is a proud LSU tiger and her education at LSU, including a law degree, M.B.A., and undergraduate degree in accounting with a concentration in internal auditing, lends itself particularly well to her business-focused practice. She joined the firm in 2008, and was admitted to practice the same year. She enjoys volunteering for Fit Cities Challenge of Shreveport-Bossier and Sutton Children's Medical Center Women's Council.
